The flagship headquarters of a fintech company in Dubai's Business Bay. The ground-floor reception needed a statement entrance — massive, elegant, and operable with a single finger push despite each panel weighing over 400kg.
Each glass panel measures 3.5m x 4m and weighs 420kg. Standard sliding systems would require significant force to operate. The client demanded a single-finger push feel, flush threshold for accessibility, and a frame sightline under 30mm.
We deployed our heavy-duty lift-and-slide system with dual tandem SS316 rollers rated for 500kg per panel. The lift mechanism raises the panel 8mm off the track before sliding, reducing friction to near zero. The 28mm sightline frame is anodized in matte black for a sleek corporate aesthetic.
